Hello everyone! I’m writing to you from the surprisingly comfortable seat D35 on the Great Western Railway, en route from London Paddington to Swansea. This train will take me across the Welsh border to Cardiff – my first destination. The countryside is unfolding outside the window in soft greens and stone villages (and the occasional cow), and with it comes the quiet thrill that this journey has really begun.
