The deadline for the Summer URG proposal is rapidly approaching on March 15th. We highly encourage you to schedule an advising appointment to discuss your proposal! Additionally, there are several helpful resources you can peruse in advance of our meeting. 1) Read through proposal writing guidelines and/or a few annotated sample proposals. Remember that these are final products and no one started out with a proposal this polished! However, it will help give you a better sense of your end goal. 2) Attend one or more upcoming workshops and/or drop in hours coming up; please consider attending to take advantage of the resources and support available through our office in addition to one-on-one advising. 3) Before you submit, make sure you: finalize your proposal against our Summer URG submission checklist, read through instructions on how to best navigate the application portal and provide your faculty sponsor a copy of the endorsement questions in advance.
If you aren't yet familiar with proposal writing basics, we highly recommend you attend one of our proposal writing workshops in advance of an advising appointment:
